Would you like to participate in the preparation of Czech cultural events in New York? The Czech Center New York (ČCNY) is located in Manhattan in the representative spaces of the Bohemian National Hall. It offers a year-round program focusing on contemporary art, film, and social sciences, and collaborates with prestigious American partners in New York and other cities in the USA. Currently, it is announcing internships focused on communication and on production. The minimum length of the internship is two months. There is some flexibility within the term.
production of events organized by ČCNY, their practical and technical realization, care for guests of the center
ensuring materials for promotional activities (translations, text and table adjustments, communication with graphic designers, working with photo and video documentation, managing social media)
involvement in strategic planning and program dramaturgy
excellent knowledge of English
ability to work with text, audio, video, and social media
active presence during working hours and at evening events throughout the internship
independence and organizational skills
ability to work with graphic programs is an advantage
participation in the cultural life of New York and collaboration with prestigious institutions
a unique experience in the field of public diplomacy

Note: ČCNY does not cover airfare, accommodation, or health insurance. The internship is unpaid. We compensate for public transport costs.
