EUNIC
EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) is a European network of national cultural institutes. Its members are representatives of EU member states and associated countries.
Czech Centres have been a member of the European EUNIC network since its inception in 2006. All Czech centres abroad are active members of local EUNIC clusters.
Thanks to this membership, the prestige of the Czech Republic in the field of international cultural projects is strengthened, the exchange of professional experiences is deepened, and the possibility of drawing funds for joint initiatives is opened. Cluster Fund is an internal financial tool of EUNIC that motivates and helps to implement joint cultural projects and activities within and outside the European Union.
The headquarters of Czech Centres serves as a Focal Point for the Czech Republic – it is the main link between EUNIC Global and Czech members of the network. It coordinates cooperation and provides information about events in the network. At the same time, it closely collaborates with the EUNIC cluster in Prague.
