Do you want to be part of a team in an institution that has been a significant part of cultural diplomacy in Slovakia for more than three decades? Are you interested in how cultural events are prepared and realized, from the first administrative steps to the actual opening, concert, or discussion? We are looking for interns who want to gain experience in organizing cultural and social events, providing administrative support, and communication.

We prefer applicants for internships lasting two months or more. However, shorter internships are possible by arrangement.
Administrative and organizational support for cultural events
Preparation of articles for the web and press releases
Collaboration on communication with partners and media
Updating the website and the cultural platform Czech Traces
Assistance in the preparation and realization of events (openings, readings, concerts, discussions)
Documentation of events and archiving media outputs
An interest in cultural diplomacy and cultural management
Practical experience in the fields of media, administration, or cultural production is welcome
Knowledge of English and Czech or Slovak
Independence, organization, and attention to detail
User knowledge of PC, experience with graphic programs and photo/video documentation is an advantage
Experience in the field of cultural diplomacy and event management
Direct contact with the cultural scene in Bratislava
The opportunity to participate in the preparation and realization of prestigious events
Development of communication and organizational skills
Work in the center of Bratislava in a building that is a national cultural monument

The internship is unpaid and we mainly recommend it to students with the possibility of obtaining a grant (e.g., Erasmus+). Unfortunately, accommodation cannot be provided at the Czech Centre Bratislava.
