Czech Centres focused on promoting the Czech Republic abroad in the field of public diplomacy announce selection procedures for internships at the Prague headquarters in the following departments:

  • public diplomacy

  • Czech language teaching and education

  • secretariat of the general director

  • external relations

  • marketing and internal communication

1st internship: public diplomacy department

Job description

  • creating expert analyses and materials (research, working with Excel)

  • preparing offer sheets for cultural projects and cultural directories

  • translations from/to English

  • assisting in the implementation of events abroad (sending exhibitions, materials for insurance, etc.)

  • preparing events and assisting in the implementation of events in the Czech Republic

  • communication with Czech centers and diplomatic missions abroad

  • mapping and searching for cultural projects

  • administrative support for the department and errands

Requirements

  • good communication skills, independence, and responsibility

  • ability to work in a team

  • deeper interest in the activities of Czech centers

  • time flexibility and communicativeness

  • good knowledge of PC usage

  • excellent knowledge of Czech, good knowledge of English or another world language is an advantage

We offer

  • preparing materials and research for department projects

  • support in implementing online projects

  • monitoring

  • participating in the preparation of educational materials

  • creating content for the language aspect of social media

  • preparing events and assisting in the implementation of events in the Czech Republic

  • administrative support for the department

  • creative work on independent projects and online campaigns

  • graphics – working with corporate identity or visual style of cultural projects

  • collaborating with the team in organizing marketing events

  • archiving materials

  • experience in creating graphic outputs is an advantage
