Czech Centre Budapest

The Czech Centre Budapest is looking for interns from January to December 2026 (duration of the internship: min. 4 months, we prefer 5-6 months, working hours: 30 hours per week). We are seeking independent and curious colleagues with a passion for culture and cultural events. We are a four-member team that values an active approach, self-sufficiency, and creativity and prides itself on a friendly atmosphere. We currently welcome interest and talent for graphic creation and working with visuals, as well as support in the area of promotion and finally a creative colleague for the role of “idea-maker” . A great advantage is a perfect knowledge and feel for the Czech language and its written form. We also expect knowledge of the English language at least at an intermediate level. Another advantage, though not a requirement, is knowledge of Hungarian.

Internship responsibilities

  • creating promotional materials associated with events at the Czech Centre Budapest

  • preparing materials for print: posters, flyers, invitations

  • producing promotional and advertising graphics for online environments

  • processing and editing photographs

  • support in social media management

  • creating content and slogans

  • promoting events organized by the Czech Centre Budapest

  • collaborating on the creation of strategic PR plans

  • creating graphic design and web design

  • graphic design for online marketing communication

  • administrative assistance

  • participating in the organizational preparations of cultural events

  • creating and implementing program plans

We are looking for someone who has

  • excellent knowledge of Czech

  • computer literacy

  • creativity, reliability, initiative, and the ability to work in a team
