One of the Czech Centres‘ key projects launched to mark the 2022 Czech EU Presidency was a series of international conferences – The Václav Havel Dialogues.
Together with the Václav Havel Library, we have organised the Václav Havel Dialogues in 10 European countries as well as the US, Egypt and Georgia in 2022.
Brussels, Budapest, Bucharest, Cardiff, The Hague, Cairo, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Sofia, Tbilisi, Warsaw, Waterville
Prominent international figures, civil society activists and young audience members addressed issues such as climate change, the future development and enlargement of the EU, disinformation and the "post-truth" society as well as the general crisis of liberal democracy as a moral issue.
