The Heroine of the Week Is Gabriela Preissová

Writer and playwright, author of theater plays set in the Slovácko region of Moravia which present a mirror for the morality of that time.  Her principal works include the play Jenůfa, which was later set to music by the world-famous composer Leoš Janáček.
