Our mission is to strengthen the good name of Czechia in the world
“I am grateful to the Czech Centres for inviting me to attend the Smetanova Litomyšl Festival. Czechia is the model example of how to promote national cultural heritage in the modern world.”
“The Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw has been cooperating with the Czech Centre Warsaw for a long time on the organization of various cultural projects. This cooperation has always been very professional.”
“We are glad that together with the Czech Centres we have found a way to stay in touch with culture even in the tense time of a pandemic.”
“In 2022, I was really lucky to collaborate with the Czech Centres. The collaboration began with a journey to an auction exhibition in support of Ukraine, organized in cooperation with the Okénko organization, held at the premises of the Czech Centre London. Thanks to the Israeli representation of the Czech Centres, workshops and lectures were then held with Israeli author Avihai Nizri about the joint project and the creation of children's books at the prestigious Shenkar Art School in Tel Aviv and Bezalel in Jerusalem. With the coordination of the Czech Centre Rotterdam, a week-long realization of a mural was completed in the picturesque Dutch city of Breda. Given that I recently moved to Vienna, I am already looking forward to potential collaboration with the local Czech Centre!”
“Working with the Czech Centres is always a great pleasure for me, whether on the occasion of an exhibition in Milan, in Speinshart (Bavaria), Munich or Tokyo. The Czech Centres around the world represent the Czech Republic perfectly.”
“We thank the Czech Centres for helping us to reach million viewers around the world with an alternative program.”
“I am very pleased that in the Czech Center New York we could introduce Janáček's personality, his connection with the city of Brno and especially the circumstances of the origin and world premiere of his opera Káťa Kabanová.”
“I would very much like us to draw on the Czech experience in how they present their country abroad. And that the Bulgarians can do the same as well as the Czech Centres do.”
“Czech centres are an exceptional platform in our domestic environment with an extensive network worldwide. There is no similar platform that would create opportunities for the presentation of Czech artists abroad and connect them with international projects and organisations to the same extent. Soon after starting university, I realized that I wanted to be part of this mission and began to be interested in internships at Czech Centres. My first internship led me to the headquarters of Czech Centres in the Fundraising Department, where I became familiar with supporting Czech artists and companies. I completed my second internship at the Czech Centre New York, which inspired me to study curating.”
“We consider the Czech Centres a natural partner of our Library for spreading the intellectual legacy of Václav Havel abroad, and our cooperation with the Czech Centres as our contribution to spreading the good name of the Czech Republic in the world.”
“I consider the cooperation with the Czech Centres to be a shift in the field of promotion and presentation of the Czech Republic abroad.”
“The work of the Czech Centres is essential for our foreign policy and the image of Czechia. The Czech Centres are a meeting place for people interested in Czech culture, language and traditions. Their events and projects not only present our rich cultural heritage, but also strengthen our relations with other countries.”
“Our cooperation with the Czech Centre Madrid is excellent. I have worked with two Directors so far and both have been approaching the project with a great energy. We are fortunate that we can rely on the Czech Centre and the knowledge it brings about the network of architecture in the country.”
“Together with other authors, Pavla Horáková and Michal Šanda, we read and discussed with readers at La Buena Vida - Café del Libro. The very well-attended event was organized by the Czech Centre Madrid.”
“The way how the Czech Centres are investing in popularization and visibility of Czech cultural field on international level is enviable. I am really thankful for being warmly hosted at Czech Dance Platform thanks to the support of CCs in Prague and Warsaw. I am taking Czech hospitality back with me to Poland and looking forward to future cooperations and exchange between Polish-Czech dance scene.”
“We thank the Czech Centre Tokyo. We are pleased that the promotion of the Czech gaming industry is part of the cultural representation of the Czech Republic abroad and we look forward to further joint projects.”
“Our festival was created out of the need to draw the attention of the Czech public to illustration. Cooperation with the Czech Centres shifts this effort to a different level in the form of the promotion of the Czech illustration abroad.”
“The cooperation with the Czech Centre in Vienna was virtually perfect and one of my best experiences so far with the Czech Centres.”
“I very much appreciate the opportunity to prepare bespoke projects for the Czech Centres. Their global network guarantees an outstanding popularization and promotion potential for both the chosen theme and the Czech Republic. But not only that. It is also an extremely enriching personal experience that will move you forward professionally as well as personally. If life is about encounters and communication, then that is exactly what the Czech Centres do – they establish relationships.”
“After almost twenty years of cooperation with the Czech Centres, I can only thank them for their professionalism, skills, work enthusiasm and empathy, thanks to which they manage to successfully promote Czech, Moravian and Silesian design and present the potential of creative authors we have here to the world. Since the Czech Centres have also been a partner of the Czech International Student Design Award since 2008, they draw attention to our young creators through exhibitions abroad. The Czech Centres help expand the winners’ horizons by inviting them for artistic residencies abroad.”
