Václav Havel Square in Sofia

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia, the leadership of the Bulgarian capital decided to name the public space after one of the most important personalities of our state, Václav Havel. After Haifa in Israel and Warsaw in Poland, this is the third square in the world named after the first Czech president.
