Specializations offered
The internship content
at the Czech Center Stockholm combines and intertwines the following
specializations: production, online marketing and graphics. During the
internship, interns will move on the border of all three areas, but they can
choose in advance the direction they would like to focus on:
- online
marketing, translations, PR, text work
- graphics
and photo documentation
- production,
program coordination
Internship 1 - focus: online marketing, translations, PR
Common tasks
- website
management and management of the Czech Centre's social networks
- promotion
of the Czech Centre's events
- assistance
in organizing cultural events and cooperation in preparing the Czech Centre's
program
- preparation
of texts in English and Czech (website, FB, newsletter, etc.)
- research
- assistance to team
members with daily administration (database updating, text formulation, etc.)
Requirements
- interest
in art and culture
- previous
experience with translations and organization of cultural events welcomed
- very
good knowledge of English (B2/C1) and Czech (spoken and written, Swedish is not
required, but is an advantage
- meticulousness
in writing texts, organizational skills, reliability, own initiative, ability
to work in a team
- experience
with website management and social media (Facebook, Instagram)
Internship 2 - focus: graphics and photo documentation
Common tasks
- photographic
documentation of events
- photo
editing and video creation
- help
with graphics - preparation of templates for online marketing, creation of
visuals
- cooperation
in the preparation of the Czech Center program and overall promotion of events
- research
- help
in organizing cultural events
Requirements
- interest
in art and culture
- previous
experience with translations and organization of cultural events welcomed
- very
good knowledge of English (B2/C1) and Czech (spoken and written, Swedish is not
required, but is an advantage
- experience with photo documentation of events and graphic programs (Adobe
Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, or others)
- experience with video creation an advantage
Internship 3 - focus: production, program coordination
Common tasks
- creative
cooperation in preparing the program
- production
(assistance in organizing the event and assistance in organizing the event on
site)
- cooperation
in the overall promotion of the events
- research
- preparation
of texts in English and Czech (website, FB, newsletter, etc.)
Requirements
- interest
in culture and art and a very good overview in one of the following areas: fine
arts, architecture, design, fashion, music, literature, film, theater, dance,
social sciences, economics, science and innovation
- very
good knowledge of English (B2/C1) and Czech (spoken and written, Swedish is not
required, but is an advantage
- meticulousness
in writing texts, organizational skills, reliability, own initiative, ability
to work in a team
- previous experience with organizing or preparing cultural events is welcomed
An internship at the
Czech Centre Stockholm is a rare opportunity to penetrate the Scandinavian
cultural scene and gain new practical experience in the field of cultural
management. We offer an unpaid internship, which will take place in our office
in the center of Stockholm. We recommend the internship mainly to students
eligible for a grant (e.g. Erasmus+).
