Internship at the Czech Centre New York

to be part of organizing Czech cultural events in New York?
The Czech
Center New York (CCNY) is located in the representative premises of the Bohemian
National Hall in Manhattan. It offers a year-round program focusing on contemporary
art, film, and social sciences, and collaborates with prestigious American
partners in New York and other U.S. cities. We are currently offering
internships with a focus on communications and production.
Internship Description
- Assisting in the production of events organized by CCNY, including their practical and technical execution, and guest care
- Providing materials for promotional activities (translations, editing texts and tables, communication with graphic designers, working with photo and video documentation, managing social media)
- Involvement in strategic planning and program development
Requirements
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to work with text, audio, video, and social media
- Active participation during working hours and evening events throughout the internship
- Independence and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with graphic software is a plus

The minimum
internship duration is two months. Some flexibility within the listed
periods is possible.
Note: CCNY does not cover airfare,
accommodation, or health insurance. The internship is unpaid, but we
provide reimbursement for public transportation costs.
