Global Science Café Czech Centres (GSC)is a series of popular science lectures and debates with the best Czech scientists, innovators, economists and other professionals. It is organized by the Czech Centres and shared within the entire network. It is an informal forum for discussing current scientific and societal issues.
GSC is currently broadcast in English in online format once every two months.

GSC 3: Cell & Gene Therapy: The future has already begun
Michal Šimíček
Senior researcher 4 MEDi Cell Coolab Ostrava project NK Cell and CART cells LF Ostrava and Primecell Bioscience. He works at the Department of Haematology at the Ostrava University Hospital, where he founded a top scientific team, which soon gained an international reputation. He has received prestigious scientific scholarships (FWO, EMBO) and has lectured at the renowned Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York.
GSC 4: Charles Games: Challenges of Developing Serious Video Games
Vít Šisler is a teacher at FF UK and an assistant professor in the field of New Media Studies. His research focuses on information and communication technologies in the Middle East and educational games and simulations. As part of his doctoral studies, he completed a research internship at Nortwestern University in Chicago on a Fulbright scholarship. Vít Šisler is the main designer of the game Attentat 1942.
Jakub Gemrot studied computer science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. He is currently teaching at the Charles University. In 2015 he was involved in the creation of a new field "computer game development". Jakub Gemrot is the managing director of Charles Games and one of the programmers of the game Attentat 1942.
