Internship at the Czech Centre Tokyo

The Czech Center in Tokyo is currently looking for interns interested in promoting Czech culture in Japan for a minimum of 3 months, working hours by arrangement.

The Czech Centers promote the Czech cultural scene internationally and promote the Czech Republic in the world. They operate as a network through 25 Czech Centers abroad on three continents.

Common tasks

• preparation of PR texts, press releases and materials for websites
• management of social networks (Fb, Twitter, Instagram) including planning and preparation of texts
• administrative work, media monitoring
• production assistance at events held in the Tokyo CC and beyond (openings, book presentations, exhibitions, film screenings, concerts)
• reception and gallery service - communication with visitors (providing information)
• translation of other program texts and projects (Japanese-Czech, Czech-Japanese)

Requirements

• advanced knowledge of the Czech language
• advanced knowledge of Japanese (level B2 (N2))
• communicative knowledge of the English language
• communication skills, organizational skills
• PC literacy
• good orientation in the Czech cultural scene
