Internship at the Czech Centre Hanoi

Czech Centre Hanoi and cultural department in the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vietnam is offering the possibility of unpaid internships for students.

Minimal internship length is 3 months.

Internship dates: start possible anytime throughout the year.

Knowledge of the Vietnamese language is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Apart from internships taking place directly in the office of Czech Centre in the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi, we are offering a possibility of remote online internship, which would primarily involve graphic design, text editing and website and social media management. If you are applying for a remote internship, please indicate this clearly in your application.


Internship 1  PR, text editing and social media management

Job description

  • Translations from Vietnamese/English into Czech, or possibly vice versa
  • Cooperation in website administration and social media management for the Czech Centre
  • Cooperation in program preparation, promotion, information service and research
  • Assistance with cultural events, coordination of language courses
  • Contact database management

Internship 2 – graphics and documentation

Job description

  • Graphic work (editing promotional materials, preparing print data for flyers, posters, etc., preparing graphic for social media)
  • Photographic and video documentation of events and subsequent post-production
  • Cooperation in program preparation, promotion, information service and research
  • Assistance with cultural events
  • Contact database management

Internship 3 – production, program coordination

Job description

  • Creative cooperation in program preparation
  • Promotion, information service and research
  • Administrative work
  • Assistance with events, coordination of language courses and guest service
  • Contact database management

What we expect (depending on the type of internship you choose) 

  • Excellent knowledge of the Czech and English language
  • Interest in culture and international relations
  • Work on social media
  • Knowledge of the Vietnamese language is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Creativity, reliability, own initiative and ability to work in a team
  • Previous experience with organizing or preparing cultural events is welcome
  • Experience in the media field is an advantage
