The CZ PRES
programme structure revolves around three main themes: Sustainable Development
and Human Rights; Science, Technology and Innovation; Arts and Creativity.
These themes offer a perfect insight into the common European agenda and allow
for a combination of discussions, presentations or artistic formats. They are
often intertwined, refer to each other and allow the addition of other existing
activities and projects.
Focus on values related to the environment, fundamental human rights and freedoms and society in general. Key concepts: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), environment protection, globalisation, social change, freedom and democracy, circular economy, equal opportunities regardless of gender, access to education, public space…
Focus on the dynamics of new technologies, scientific discoveries and innovations and their impact on the quality of human life, providing new possibilities for future generations. Key concepts: digitalization, new technologies, innovation, scientific centres of excellence, artificial intelligence, modern medicine, electro mobility, virtual reality, smart cities…
Focus on tradition, creativity, imagination and ideas expressed through artistic, authorial and other forms of culture. Relation to the present and both the cultural and intellectual heritage. Introducing powerful stories, developing specific phenomena and positive stereotypes. Dialogue with the world in relation to European values and awareness of one’s identity and roots. Key concepts: creative process, European and national identity, literature, memory, humour, design, architecture, visual arts, performing arts, public space, film…
